Fantastic place in amongst beautiful rolling hills. A very relaxed vibe and the grounds, gardens and activities are all excellent. Well priced and an enjoyable few hours were spent.

We’ve been visiting Stonor’s Tumblestone Hollow Halloween Trail for several years now, and it has always been something we really looked forward to. Stonor is such a beautiful place, and in previous years the Halloween experience was truly magical. Unfortunately, we’ve noticed the trail getting less impressive each year. Last year was already a step down from previous years, but this year was honestly a huge disappointment. It felt as though very little effort had gone into creating the trail. The decorations were incredibly basic, almost as if a few cheap Halloween items had been ordered online and randomly scattered around the bushes. It was nothing like the wonderful, imaginative experience we remember from previous visits. We also really missed the little details that used to make it so special, like searching for the witch’s house and listening to the witch tell stories. Even the traditional pumpkin carving had been replaced with simply sticking stickers onto a pumpkin! It’s such a shame to see something we once loved so much become so underwhelming. We actually travel from outside the UK to visit Stonor, and this has always been one of the highlights of our autumn trips. We genuinely hope Stonor brings back the creativity, effort and magic that made this event so special in the first place. Sadly, after this year’s experience, we’re seriously questioning whether we’ll return next Halloween.

Stonor Park is a wonderful historic country estate. Notwithstanding the extreme heat yesterday I had a very good day selling. The venue was packed and I believe there were more than double the expected sellers. Bargains and really interesting things to buy affordable. Wi-Fi was a bit erratic which did rather stymie some card payments. Buyers, bring some cash’ you will always get a better deal. I was one of the last to leave. Staff were very friendly and offered me any assistance I needed. Please pass on my thanks to ground staff and security. Having done Markets, Fairs, Top hotel events, etc. for many, many years. My advice is give it a go ! This is not Olympia of the NEC but it is very, very inexpensive to stall out. Thank you Stonor, Thank you Lisa for all of your assistance during booking, All the very best for your future success. Edwin
