I was looking for somewhere to stay in Southport while attending a football presentation. Saw the reviews for the Leicester and booked in for the night. The reviews are not wrong, what a cracking little B&b! Perfect location, lovely room, Cliff at front of house is so warm and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. And that breakfast, absolutely delicious and so much choice. Well done guys, you thoroughly deserve that 5 star rating!

My third time staying here. Cliff & Jayne go above & beyond to help with everything you need. Rooms are comfortable & quiet, with everything you need for a 1 night or longer stay. Would always recommend The Leicester to family or friends. Thank you both so much.

Stayed again at the Leicester, rooms clean, breakfast brilliant with Cliff at front of house and Jane & Sally doing breakfast and everything else that's needed in a B&B. Only a short walk to the seafront and Lord Street with good restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

The Leicester was a really lovely stay. Smart clean rooms, but what shines the most was the excellent service. Kind thoughtful and very helpful. Lovely restaurant recommendations and just very good attention to details. The breakfast was first class, with all the usual things but some great specials as well. All high quality ingredients.
