About Corriegour Lodge Hotel

Ben Nevis lies within reach for those keen on walking or climbing, and Spean Bridge itself is a short drive away, making Corriegour Lodge Hotel a useful base for exploring this part of the Highlands. The hotel sits right on the shore of Loch Lochy and even has its own beach, giving guests a spot to sit by the water without going far from the door.

There are 10 rooms in a traditional style, each with drinks provided, and the hotel's setting means many look out over the loch. A Scottish restaurant and bar serve guests on site, and breakfast is included, so there's little need to head out for meals. A garden gives extra space to enjoy the surroundings, and free WiFi and luggage storage are available throughout.

The hotel also functions as a wedding venue, and free on-site parking makes it straightforward for those arriving by car. It suits travellers who want a quiet, classic Highland stay with loch views close at hand, rather than a base in the middle of a town.

The experience of a lifetime staying at this lodge - I cannot recommend it enough. Christian and Ian were so hospitable and friendly, the dinners were SPECTACULAR, the views can’t be beat, and the energy immaculate. I will absolutely be returning and will recommend this as a place to stay for anyone looking for a home-style stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Corriegour Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly – nothing was ever too much trouble, they really go out of their way to help with anything you need. It felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. The place itself is beautiful – a classic English-style lodge surrounded by stunning nature. It’s peaceful, cozy, and has that old-world charm that makes you instantly relax. Waking up to the greenery and the quiet lake view was just magical. And the food – absolutely amazing. The Michelin-recommended restaurant was the highlight of our trip. Every dish was not only delicious but beautifully presented, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Honestly, one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Overall, Corriegour Lodge is more than just a place to stay – it’s an experience. Warm people, lovely atmosphere, and outstanding food. We’d come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Corriegour Lodge is the sort of hotel I didn’t think existed anymore. Personal welcome and handshake from the owner on arrival, pre-dinner drinks in the cosy bar just off the dining room with panoramic views of Loch Lochy (great name for a Loch), dinner that gave vibes of being home-cooked yet starred restaurant standard, post-dinner whisky in the communal lounge around the fire. Just make sure you tick every box on the breakfast order sheet, especially the one for Lorne sausage. My only regret is not staying at least 2 or 3 nights. Thank you Christin and team
