About Mansion House Hotel
The Mansion House Hotel occupies a nineteenth-century baronial mansion on the edge of Elgin, set in its own gardens beside the River Lossie. It offers a more resort-style stay than most Speyside hotels, with an on-site spa, pool and gym alongside its period public rooms.
Bedrooms combine traditional decor with modern bathrooms, and the restaurant makes use of Moray produce, including fish landed on the nearby coast as well as Speyside beef and game. The hotel's grounds and riverside setting offer easy walking without leaving the property.
Elgin's position at the northern end of Speyside makes the hotel a useful base for combining whisky trail visits with the Moray coast, as well as for exploring Elgin's own cathedral ruins and independent shops.

Seriously cannot give this place enough stars!!! From Ruth at the check in, Kim in the restaurant and Matthew at the bar - the staff were all amazing. The building was so beautiful and our room was amazing!! We had dinner in the restaurant and were so glad we did. It was delicious. After, we took an evening walk around the grounds. Enchanting. It was such a perfect stay and I really can't recommend it enough!!!

Great experience staying here! Room was large and comfortable. Bed was great. The location is good too. Right next to a large grocery store and walking distance to downtown. Also there’s a bar downstairs that was actually really well equipped. The lady working at the desk and bar was so friendly. The free breakfast in the morning was so good! Overall definitely would recommend.

We were delighted that we booked a stay in this magnificent building with beautiful, clean spacious bedroom. Ideally located for NE250 travel. Free parking and plenty if spaces. The super large sleigh bed was so comfortable, had a great night's sleep and the heavy drapes blocked out the dawn light. Great flow on the shower. A small comfortable sitting area with 2 easy chairs and a large tilting TV easily seen from sitting area and bed. Fab choices for breakfast and breakfast staff we're super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. There was nothing not to like about our stay and would thoroughly recommend it

Lovely hotel , excellent staff, huge room - we booked a king and it was extremely spacious. Friendly staff, outstanding customer service. Lovely welcome at reception. Very clean and we have been to lots of similar hotels that aren't kept as well & are cold etc. This room was very warm ! It had air-conditioning and heating so we could amend to our preferred settings. Beside the river if you want to walk around. Very close to amenities.
