The Mansion House Hotel occupies a grand nineteenth-century sandstone mansion set in its own grounds on the banks of the River Lossie, just a short walk from Elgin's historic centre. The building's turrets and mature gardens give it a country-house feel that is unusual for a hotel this close to a town centre, and it has long been one of Elgin's best-known addresses for a special stay.

Cannot speak more highly of this beautiful building set in perfectly manicured grounds. The bedroom was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable and included 2 comfy armchairs. TV could be turned toward chairs and bed for easy viewing. Bathroom/ shower was roomy with a good water pressure. Great choice of breakfasts and breakfast staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. Accomodation close to all town amemities, within walking distance

A wonderful restaurant. Restored and reopened on July 1st. The food is prepared to order, with meticulous attention to detail and fresh ingredients. The menu isn't extensive, but they have a wide variety of dishes, which makes everything even more special. It's well worth a visit. We loved it. We ordered: - Angus burger with onion rings - Linguine with prawns - Fish and chips - Pan-fried sea bass with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Fantastic location, lovely room with a good breakfast. A few minutes' walk from the center. Staff friendly and helpful.
