About The Highlander Inn
The Highlander Inn is a small, family-run inn in the centre of Craigellachie, built around a bar that has become a genuine destination for whisky enthusiasts, stocking several hundred malts including a strong selection of independent and cask-strength bottlings.
Bedrooms sit above and beside the bar, simply furnished and comfortable rather than luxurious, and the inn's location puts guests within walking distance of the Craigellachie Hotel, the Speyside Cooperage and the confluence of the Spey and Fiddich rivers.
Its size and character suit visitors prioritising whisky tasting and conversation with other enthusiasts over resort facilities, with several major distilleries an easy drive or short taxi away.

One of the best experiences I've ever had. Comfortable rooms and plenty of privacy when you want it. Lovely views of the village and surrounding landscape. The breakfast is delicious and generous. The bar and restaurant is superb with excellent food and an amazing selection of whisky. The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable and accommodating to all. I will definitely be back.

The perfect pub for great food and maybe one of their huge collection of whisky. Staff were so nice and knowledgeable on their whisky available and the food menu. Its quite small so if you'd like to eat booking in advance would be advisable. We had 3 course from that we couldn't fault. Large portions, excellently executed and presented. Will definitely be back.

My partner and I had a lovely meal on Thursday 11th June. We enjoyed the food and whisky so much we went back again on the Sunday. My partner had the steak pie and I had the burger. Food was lovely. Great whisky selection. Carole who served us each night was brilliant. She was very efficient, professional and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Spent a lovely couple nights there last month. Comfortable rooms with great service. The bar downstairs is as good as it gets. Unbeatable whisky collection and terrific bartenders I couldn’t praise more highly.
