My daughter myself and grandchildren had an emergency stay here as our booking had gone into administration. David and Jackie made us so comfortable , a wonderful wood burner in lounge . Beautiful homemade food . Wine was also very comforting !! Rooms were excellent. Breakfast was great . Highly recommend

Fantastic place! We've stayed here for a long weekend a few weeks ago, the new owners are great people, very friendly and helpful. We were in room 6, a good sized room for 3, everything brand new, very nicely decorated and clean. Good beds too, slept like a log! Because it's such a small hotel, it's very quiet. Lovely garden to relax in as well. We had a great time and will come back for sure!

We stayed at the Countryman for a long weekend in October. We loved it! We were in room 7 which was beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows were so comfy! Our two young children had a brilliant time too and said they want to come back, they were very impressed with the cats and the fire changing colour! Breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The owners are really lovely, made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed having a drink and chat in the evening. Thanks so much, would definitely recommend!

The best experience you could possibly have. Nothing has been to much trouble for Jackie and David, which are kind, lovely and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place. The breakfast is a must. Everything is freshly and properly cooked. The room we stayed in was very clean. You have all you need. They also provide leaflets with things to do or places to go around Cornwall. Looking forward to our next visit here.
