What visitors say
The snowdrop walk is incredible, carpets of beautiful white flowers everywhere. I’ve visited previously in the autumn and the grounds were lovely then too. The grounds are big enough to soak up visitors with woodland and riverside walks. It’s very easy to park in the carpark nearby and they are even selling snowdrops from the grounds.

We visited in February during their snowdrop season, and it was so worth it. The abbey ruins in themselves are well worth the visit, but combine it with the snowdrops and it is fantastic. There are plenty of walking paths throughout the grounds and benches to sit and enjoy the views. Note that there is no parking directly at the abbey, so you need to either us the nearby car park or find on the road parking in the surrounding streets.

Magical place hidden in plain sight worth a visit reasonable price, full of historical facts too. Calming place.
