A beautiful, expansive beach with wide sands, colourful beach huts, and endless skies. Peaceful and unspoilt, especially at low tide, with fantastic walks and sunsets. One of the best beaches on the Norfolk coast — perfect for relaxing or exploring.

Big, paid carpark park on grass, cafe at top end, entrance to beach, at bottom. Dog friendly. Lots of doggy people go here. Beach is shingles and sand. Tied comes in leaving only a small strip to walk. Watch out for grumpy old women who scream at you if a dog comes too close to them. There was a couple of cliff falls that need avoiding. Don't walk to close to cliffs. Interesting buildings and chapel ruins at the cafe area.

Nice cafe and very nice clean toilet block. Quite expensive to park. We took our dog, so walked along the dog area to get to the beach. No dog bins along that area. No bins or seats on the dog friendly part of the beach. Pretty beach and beach huts.

Absolutely love Wells-next-the-Sea beach! 🌊 It’s one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve ever been to. The wide sandy beach seems endless, and when the tide is low, it feels like you’re walking on the edge of the world. The colourful beach huts look amazing against the golden sand — they make the whole place feel like a postcard. The air is fresh and salty, the views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. It’s perfect for long walks, watching the sunset, or just sitting quietly and listening to the waves. Every time I come here, I feel recharged and inspired. Truly a magical spot on the Norfolk coast 💙
