Hathaway Hamlet is a characterful listed building in Shottery village, a short walk from Anne Hathaway's Cottage. The property shares the period style of its famous neighbour—timber beams, leaded windows and an inglenook fireplace give it genuine Tudor-era charm, though on a smaller, more intimate scale. One step leads to the entrance; the bedroom upstairs has an uneven floor typical of properties of this age.
The ground floor contains a living and dining space with a woodburning stove, and a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking. Upstairs, the bedroom features a four-poster double bed. The single bathroom has a bath with shower. Essentials including bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are provided, along with a travel cot and highchair if needed. Private parking for one car sits beside the property, and a courtyard with seating overlooks the garden.
Shottery is a quiet village roughly a mile from Stratford town centre. A pub serving food and a shop are within easy reach on foot. The location suits visitors exploring Shakespeare's connections, the wider Stratford attractions, or day trips to Warwick, Kenilworth, Evesham and the Cotswolds. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking throughout.

Highly recommended. A lovely quaint, traditional thatched cottage. Lovely comfy bed. Warm throughout (we were there for 2 weeks in Feb) Comfortable living space. Very quiet. I would stay there again.
