Willowbank Lodge sits on the banks of the River Avon in Stratford Parks, where the water moves in a gentle bend lined with countryside. Stratford-upon-Avon itself lies just over a mile away, close enough for an easy visit but far enough that the lodge feels properly secluded. The setting means you can step outside to watch boats pass and swans drift by, or head into town on foot or by the seasonal river taxi to explore the Georgian streets and Shakespeare heritage sites.
The property is yours alone, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms across a single ground floor. The main bedroom has a super kingsize bed and ensuite shower; the second offers a double bed. The open-plan living space flows into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, with a dining area that leads through French doors onto a deck and enclosed garden. A utility room with washing machine sits separate from the main kitchen. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.
One dog stays free. Parking for two cars is on site. The lodge suits couples or families after a riverside base with the option of town visits, though note that smoking is not permitted inside.
