Orchard Cottage

Rolling hills and working farmland surround Orchard Cottage, a detached property on the edge of Stroud. The setting sits deep in Cotswold countryside, within reach of market towns, village shops and walking routes across the region. The garden includes a patio with furniture; note that there is an unfenced pond on the grounds and two steps down to the garden area.

The cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, each with an ensuite or access to a family bathroom. Ground floor rooms include a living room with woodburner and Freeview TV, a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch, a games room, and a utility room with washing machine. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi, heating and wood for the burner are all covered. Private parking fits six cars. One well-behaved pet stays free; smoking is not permitted inside.

This works well for families or groups wanting a self-contained base for exploring the region, or simply somewhere quiet to settle in. The kitchen is properly set up for longer stays, and there is enough space that everyone can find their own corner. Stroud General Hospital is nearby if needed.
