Thistle Cottage

Amberley is a village where the Cotswolds hills fold down towards the Woodchester Valley, and Thistle Cottage sits right into that landscape. The house is built for groups—six bedrooms and five bathrooms spread across a whole property that's yours alone, with space for twelve people. Open-plan living areas look out across the valley, and there's a heated swimming pool, a private bar for evening drinks, and a dining room scaled for shared meals.

The kitchen handles proper cooking, and the essentials are covered: electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A large terrace overlooks the grounds. Woodchester Valley Vineyard is nearby for tours and tastings, and several pubs are within walking distance. The pool temperature varies by season—heated to 28 degrees from mid-April to mid-October, and 12 degrees over winter, though guests can arrange additional heating for the colder months. No smoking indoors.
