Violet Cottage

Violet Cottage is a self-contained wing of a larger house, positioned on quiet countryside near Stroud. The property sleeps five: a double bedroom on the first floor, a second bedroom with two single beds, and a landing area with a further single bed suitable for flexible sleeping arrangements. Downstairs there is a living room with French windows opening onto the garden, and a combined kitchen and dining room with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge.

The cottage overlooks Painswick Valley, with Cheltenham and Gloucester within 10 miles, and Bath 30 miles away. Painswick itself—a historic stone town—is close by, as is Slad village. Stroud station, an hour and 20 minutes from London, serves the area. A shop and pub are a mile away. The enclosed garden has furniture, and private parking for two cars is on site. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. No smoking inside.
