Highridge Lodge
Stroud
Minchinhampton Old Course lies within reach, and the walking country around Stroud is some of the best in the Cotswolds. Highridge Lodge itself is a converted pub set up entirely for large groups—nine bedrooms across two floors, eight bathrooms, and room for 24 people to stay as one party. The property is yours alone: no other guests, no staff quarters, just interconnected living spaces arranged around a central courtyard.
Ground-floor rooms include a dining area, bar, two living rooms, a snug and a projection room. The kitchen has four ovens and two hobs, equipped for cooking at scale. Upstairs, bedrooms 1–7 are ensuite; one has a standalone bath. Bedrooms 8 and 9 share two shower rooms and work well for families with younger children. Outside, there's a swimming pool, a courtyard with pizza oven and firepit, and ample parking. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking throughout. Check-in is after 4pm, checkout before 10am.
The building has been extensively renovated and reads as a hybrid: part hotel comfort, part family home. It suits celebrations, reunions and multi-generational trips where the whole group wants one roof and proper kitchen facilities.

We had a wonderful summer wedding at The Old Lodge. We had previously eaten in the restaurant and loved its charm and cosy atmosphere and after viewing it as a potential wedding venue, knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. The venue coordinator (Jess) was amazingly responsive, answered all our questions and was extremely accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious, we had so much space (despite not having exclusive use of the venue), the space looked absolutely stunning and the staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. We were lucky to have beautiful sunshine so married outside which was perfect, the garden is delightful and so cared for. We had breakfast the next morning which was fantastic and the staff had gone above and beyond, decorating the table with our wedding flowers from the day before which was so thoughtful and made us feel incredibly special. Highly recommend The Old Lodge as a place to get married - it will be incredibly special. 5 stars

A lovely hotel and bar/restaurant. A beautiful building in a beautiful setting. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. It is an older building, 17th century, therefore some of the doorways are low, but that adds to the charm. The room was comfy and the breakfast delicious.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home. The hotel and pub offer an excellent experience in every way, with friendly staff, a warm atmosphere, and plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and family-friendly, with extra beds available for children when needed. The food was excellent, with a good selection of options for both vegetarians and vegans. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, offering a delicious start to the day. Whether you're looking for a place to stay, enjoy a meal, or simply stop by for a drink, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Recently had my wedding reception here. Communication & helpfulness were great. I was able to dress the tables to my liking with assistance from the staff on the morning😊 The wedding Breakfast menu is varied and the food very nicely presented and piping hot. Welcome 🍸 served under the pagoda and my chosen music playing in the background. It was perfect 👌🏻. Jess and all the staff were brilliant. Would highly recommend
