About Wild Garlic Restaurant & Rooms
Three rooms are all you'll find above Wild Garlic Restaurant & Rooms, and that scale is the point: this is a small, personal set-up on Cossack Square in Stroud, Gloucestershire, where the kitchen downstairs is very much the heart of the place. Each room is en-suite and kept snug and warmly finished, with family rooms available for those travelling with children, and drinks can be brought straight to your door.
Breakfast is included and free WiFi runs throughout, while the restaurant and bar downstairs handle everything from casual meals to kids' menus, with outdoor seating for warmer days. The property also does duty as a wedding venue and offers business services, and there's 24 hour reception along with luggage storage for those breaking up a longer journey. Parking is available on site.
Stroud's setting in the Cotswolds means walking and cycling routes are close at hand, along with golf, horse riding and further restaurants nearby, plus entertainment for evenings when you'd rather not stay in. With only three rooms, it suits couples or small groups after a quiet, food-focused stay rather than a large hotel experience.
What guests say
The rooms were nice and located by many retail shops, restaurants, grocery stores and a self service laundry. There were several indoor and outdoor seating areas too. Matthew was very responsive and helpful. Great value. We would stay here again if in the area.

My stay here was fantastic, I was amazed by the room, how large it was, it had more than you think you need, fridge (including supplies), glasses, mugs, wardrobe, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, lovely breakfast, shampoo and conditioner, blankets...the list goes on. I didn't want for anything. The bathroom was huge and the bath was to die for. The location was great too, such a beautiful place, pub across the road, local independant shops. It was an amazing stay and I would 100% return and recommend to anyone just wanting to get away.

Loved our stay here, we've stayed at other hotels in the area but absolutely love this place. Really well positioned in town with everything in walking distance. Parking can be tricky but there's plenty around town close the the hotel. All of the directions and check in details were really well explained and easy to follow. Rooms are very comfortable and very well equipped, has everything you need. We also visited the Wilder restaurant, which is an absolute must if your staying in Nailsworth. Fantastic fine dining restaurant with amazing food.

The owner was super friendly and made everything easy. The room was lovely and had everything and more that you could want including a lovely breakfast for the morning. One warning, there are steep steps to get to the room we were in, but if you can manage those then it's worth it.
