A small, peaceful site with a back-to-basics feel, 20 minutes from the Suffolk coast.

About Church Farm Camping

This small, family-run site near Redisham offers a refreshingly simple camping experience just 20 minutes from the Suffolk coast. Pitched as deliberately back-to-basics, Church Farm delivers the essentials – hot showers, drinking water, toilets – alongside campfire pitches and decent WiFi, giving you enough comfort without the distraction of leisure facilities. Families appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the freedom to let children roam safely across the open meadow.

The location works well for exploring both coastal towns like Southwold and the quieter inland corners of Suffolk. Note that pets aren't allowed, so you'll need to make other arrangements for four-legged friends. It's the kind of unpretentious spot that suits campers after fresh air and simplicity rather than on-site entertainment.

Peace and quit with an amazing wood fired shower! Lovely owners as well. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but once there, just follow the road up. It really is nice.

Lovely quiet and small camp site. Super eco friendly with wood fired hot water for showers and washing up. Always hot. Compost toilets might put some off but others see it as an adventure and a way to be more natural and less wasteful. Lovely walks nearby. We walked to Halesworth with it's amazing Co-op and caught the train back. Brampton Railway Station just a 15 min walk away gives easy access to Beccles, Lowestoft and Woodbridge for great days out. Good speed free WiFi for campers. No electricity for campers but glampers have plenty from the solar panels.

Basic in all the right ways - everything you'd need in a campsite without any of the faff. Composting toilets and wood fired shower are brilliant. Lovely setting and well priced. 15 minute walk from the train station makes it perfect for a public transport camping trip. Farm shop an hour's walk away (though we didn't go there) and other pubs walkable.

A lovely small family run camping space. Composting toilets , woodburning showers and the outdoor camping kitchen make this a true camping experience. We had some lovely evening camp fires .The site has all the basics and is a beautiful natural environment. The owners are into permaculture and the land the campsite is on reflects this. It is the perfect escape and I found it a great base to explore Suffolk and Norfolk. We enjoyed days out to beaches like Lowestoft, southwold and Great Yarmouth .Hosts are very accommodating and the site is well priced , for tents camper vans and they also have a lovely wooden hand built residence on the camping field to rent. Seeing a barn owl flying over the field early one morning was fabulous . If you are into a really natural camping experience with the added bonus of hot showers and friendly hosts then this place is great.
