About Halesworth Holiday Park
Tucked into Suffolk countryside yet beautifully positioned for coastal escapes and inland adventures, Halesworth Holiday Park punches above its weight as a small, well-kept base. With just 11-25 pitches spread across electric hardstanding and grass, it offers an intimate feel without being isolated—Southwold's beach huts and The Broads' waterways are both around 20 minutes by car, while Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Great Yarmouth lie within easy reach for day trips.
Dogs are welcome year-round (on leads, please), and the small wooded area at the rear provides quick leg-stretches before longer coastal rambles. A 20-minute stroll into Halesworth town brings pubs, shops and that proper-Suffolk market-town charm, while a 190-acre golf course sits five minutes' drive away. Facilities are straightforward but thoughtful: heated toilet block with quality showers and a disabled wet room, plus all the usual motorhome service points, washing-up area and recycling. It's not flashy, but for exploration-minded campers after a friendly, no-fuss stopover, it does the job well.

We stayed here for a weekend in our caravan. The photos on the website looked great sadly when we pulled up it looked like abit of a dumping ground. A guy who seemed nice enough did come out and express that the site was being done and wasn't ready, and they shouldn't be taking bookings but clearly nothings being done about it to prevent bookings. The site is booked up with static caravans. However people kept themselves to themselves and were quiet. You do hear noise from the road which your right beside but traffic doesn't bother us. The hose to fill up aqua rolls was split all over and unusable. The hose when emptying toilet waste didn't even work so you can't clean out your toilet after emptying. Reviews stated that the showers were good so we tried out the showers in the evening and they were cold! We tried to wait to see if they'd warm up but no they stayed cold. With a very rusty pole and mouldy shower curtain. We ended up using our own shower within the caravan. There is also a horrible smell that lingers maybe coming from the toilet waste area which is quite gross. There also wasn't signs to state where the toilet waste was my husband did message the guy to ask where that was but didn't get a reply so he walked around and figured it out. There is alot of crap on the site resembling abit of a building site initially wanting us to leave before we'd even parked up. The wooded area is very tiny the same size as my back garden. Which was somewhat disappointing as we like long walks. The snow that we had saved the weekend for us giving our kids fun. I personally wouldn't recommend going there. We go to new places every month and we've loved all of the parks but this one gets a thumbs down from us sadly.

It's wasn't as bad as previous reviews suggested. The toilets and shower were very clean, there was a small wooded dog walk area and the site was small. It was only a 20 minute walk to Halesworth with shops and bars, there is also a direct train to Woodbridge. Unfortunately, the rubble on which you need to park isn't really suitable and the pitches are very tight (our neighbours awning was only inches from our van). Also, there seemed to be a lack of communication between the staff on site and who ever organised the bookings. Over all it's an ok site.

Can somebody please contact me! No valid phone number or website or email address. We've paid to stay this weekend, pub is closed and campsite is like a building site. This should be closed, and not advertised as a pub!! I request a refund ASAP, and will continue to try and contact you
