We stayed at this hotel last week, and we highly recommend it. A small detail that really stood out was the wonderful fragrance in the entrance and lobby area. Had the best few days here, food was amazing and drinks service in the evenings! Extremely welcoming staff who gave great recommendations for botanical gardens and the museum! - with shoutout to front desk Ashley especially - helped us sorting bag dropoff in Newcastle and really went above and beyond without even being asked, Completely made the trip - will definitely be back

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn in Sunderland. it is the kind of hotel that instantly makes travel feel easier and more comfortable. Its location in the city center, it sits directly beside Primark and is surrounded by plenty of halal food options, like Pepe’s and Manjaros, so finding something to eat is never a problem. On top of that, the hotel staff were genuinely friendly and attentive made this place one we would happily return to.
