We purchased our static caravan earlier this year on Lizard Lane. We viewed many caravan sites over the last year and Lizard Lane exceeded all our expectations by far!!! It's a small, quiet, well maintained site. There is a small, but well organised gym facility on site. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful & readily available to offer support & answer our questions.The views over Marsden Bay from most, if not all of the caravans just adds to the sites appeal. It's location is perfect for lovers of peacefulness, but if you fancy a gorgeous walk along the coastline or a short 10 mins drive, you have a choice of Ocean Beach Pleasure Park or the pretty South Marine Park. Heading out a 10 mins coastal walk in the opposite direction you can enjoy the Souter Lighthouse. We just love it here...Highly recommended site...!!!

Been on Lizard Lane for 2 years front row with exceptional views of sea and Marsden Rock. Peaceful well kept site immaculate gardens with good local amenities near by in South Shields and Seaburn and great golf course. Friendly residents perfect location for get away from it all breaks. Would definitely recommend this site.

Excellent site, been on the site 5 years and have a lovely quiet spot close to all amenities. Gym and laundry on site and the office staff always happy to help. Site is well maintained always neat and tidy. Excellent location with a choice of bars and restaurants nearby along with access to shops. Excellent location for visiting South Shields and some lovely beaches nearby.

What's not to like about Lizard Lane Holiday Park. Nestled perfectly between wonderful countryside, Marsden Old Quarry Nature Reserve and the stunning Marsden Bay. The site is lovely and quite, exceptionally clean and well cared for by both the owners of the site and the residents too. Within 10 minutes drive you can be in South Shields or Whitburn/Seaburn, depending on which direction you take when leaving the site. Both are walkable too along the Leas a beautiful cliff top walk. Great public transport too with regular bus services both in front of site along the coast road or at the back of the site along Lizard Lane. The staff on site are lovely and friendly and provide an excellent service too.
