The Place - Sapphire

Sunderland's waterfront and city centre are both within reach of this eight-bedroom property, which sits within the National Esports Performance Campus. The Place – Sapphire is built for groups: it sleeps 12 across bedrooms arranged over four floors, with three bathrooms, a dedicated games room, and enough communal space for everyone to spread out or gather together.

Bedrooms range from singles to a super kingsize, split between the lower ground floor, ground floor, first floor and second floor. The heart of the place is a kitchen and dining room on the ground floor, equipped for real cooking – electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and the rest. Upstairs, a living room with a large smart TV and PlayStation 5 provides the focal point for group downtime. The games room on the second floor offers another retreat. Essentials like bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are all included, and there's an enclosed grounds with patio and courtyard seating shared with other on-site properties. No smoking throughout. Four steps lead to the entrance, and the property uses secure access control as standard, though this can be switched off on request. This setup works equally well for families travelling in numbers, teams needing a base, or groups of friends looking for a large private space.
