Tucked on the edge of the Gower Peninsula with sweeping views over the Loughor Estuary, Crickton Farm Camping offers a peaceful, back-to-basics escape just minutes from some of South Wales' finest beaches. This tiny, family-run site sits beside a working livery yard—horses graze in neighbouring paddocks—and the level grass pitches have plenty of space for kids to roam. There's no electricity or showers here, keeping things genuinely simple, but two village pubs and a shop are a ten-minute walk away, and the setting more than compensates.
Oxwich Bay and Whiteford Sands are both around fifteen minutes by car, while the lively waterfront at Mumbles makes an easy evening trip. Campfires and barbecues are welcomed, and with such a small number of pitches the atmosphere stays wonderfully quiet. If you're after a stripped-back stay with big skies and easy coastal access, Crickton Farm delivers.

Lovely experience with all you need for accommodation and friendly service going above and beyond with help and advice I'd needed. Being on a farm was a nice experience but if wanting a long lay in you do have the horses, dogs and elements as an alarm. We didn't mind this as wanted to get out and explore which is an idea place to access many beaches, walks etc. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back

So quiet and peaceful, very friendly owners who communicated through text and then left us to it, no problem arriving late, and the most lovely farm dog who we played frisbee with and who was totally gentle with my toddler. We camped in the new camping field, 5 pitches on a beautiful open field with sea views, with a water point and brand new chemical toilet emptying and grey water waste station. We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed for a long weekend. Amazing place. Homely feel. Immaculately clean. Fabulous hot tub and secure garden. Could have stayed longer. Great pub down the road too!

What a beautiful relaxing cottage. It was clean and had everything needed for a relaxing few days. Wine cake toiletries hot tub and an enclosed garden for my dog.
