Walking the Cambrian way long distance path. The weather had been difficult with heavy rain for days. I walked through Glyntawe feeling pretty beaten down, soaked and exhausted, no water and out of food. I saw a sign for camping next to a beautiful old church and followed a small lane to an experience I'll never forget. A haven in the wilderness and a beautiful place to camp, rest and recharge. This small well maintained and natural campsite is run and owned by an absolute gentleman. I knocked on his door while he was having breakfast. He offered me in and gave me shelter, water and fresh coffee. He gave me a private spot to set up my bivvy and later took me to the local shop so i could buy food. He's a man of great character who went well beyond what many would do for a stranger. His eco campsite is a testament to managing the environment sensibly whilst enabling the public to enjoy nature with as little impact as possible. If you love nature and camping under the stars in a beautiful place, then this place is for you. Great location, served by nearby pubs. Exquisite hiking trails and then return to enjoy a night under the stars. Don't be fooled, the facilities are basic but spotless and clean. I can't recommend this place enough. Ill definitely be going back and taking my family and friends. It's also dog friendly so you don't have to leave anyone at home. Absolutely saved my holiday and gave happy memories to never forget.

Super warm welcome when we arrived. During a storm, the owners were incredibly helpful in helping us move so we could get a good night sleep. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a campsite in the area.

We camped for 3 nights and absolutely loved our stay there. The campsite is pretty big, and as it wasn't too busy on that weekend, we had a lot of space for ourselves, which was great. The area is also very quiet (you can occasionally hear some cars), so we really enjoyed lighting up a fire and looking at all the stars at night in silence! It really made us feel very close to nature, which is exactly what we wanted. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Their house is inside the campsite, so they were always close if we needed anything. The toilets and shower were also very clean at all times, which shows that the owners take really good care of their facilities. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway!
