Dog friendly, luxury safari tents by Rhossili Bay, set on the Gower Peninsula in reach of Swansea.

About Hillside Glamping Holidays

Hillside Glamping Holidays offers a handful of luxury safari tents perched on the Gower Peninsula, minutes from the stunning sweep of Rhossili Bay. The canvas lodges come well-equipped with proper beds, wood-burning stoves and private decks where you can watch the sun drop behind the headland. Dogs are welcome, and families find the spacious tents and quiet hilltop setting ideal for unwinding after days spent on the beach or tramping the coastal path.

Facilities cover the basics—showers, toilets, drinking water—though there's no WiFi, which most guests see as a bonus given the setting. The site's relaxed, unpretentious vibe and those sweeping Gower views keep visitors returning, even if the glamping market means prices aren't bargain-basement. It's a solid, scenic base for exploring one of Wales's most beautiful corners.

Such a stunning location, if you love the country and enjoy a nice relax time, then this is the place for you. We loved our stay. The tents are lovely, you forget it's a tent until the wind blows. There's wild horses and highland cows ❤️ on the roads. It definitely brings the country vibe We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay. I didn't take any photos but the place is definitely worth visiting

Set in beautiful surroundings, Three Cliffs safari tent was equipped with everything we needed! The owners were happy to help with anything. Cot and highchair provided for our toddler no problem, plenty of wood for the fire and hot tub. Absolutely idyllic!! So many gorgeous sites within 20ish minutes drive, in every direction. Isolated and gorgeous!

The location is great... in beautiful countryside and within walking distance to a lovely pub and Hillend Beach (active family of four with children age 10 and 7). The tents were good, all you need for a weekend away. Hot tub (wood fired) took a while to initially heat up and then time needed each time used (so some planning time needed). The people running the glamping site were really responsive and helpful with any questions asked. The kids loved the den bed and preferred to sleep in there rather than the single beds. The heaters in the bedrooms and bathroom kicked out some heat when cold which helped during our stay (early April). The Gower Peninsula is stunning and the glamping tents were a great base to explore from. Would recommend.

Absolutely stunning location. I loved how you remember your in a tent when the window blows. But heading nature and the lambs. And seeing the wild horses and the lush wood fired hot tub was an amazing experience. A place we will 100% go back to thank you
