About Western House B and B
A complimentary cooked breakfast sets the tone at Western House B and B, a small five-room guesthouse in Llangennith on the doorstep of the Gower Peninsula. It's an easy-going start to the day before heading out to explore the coast, and guests can also make use of a garden to unwind in once back.
The five bedrooms are decorated with plenty of colour and character, giving the place an offbeat, individual feel rather than a generic hotel look. Free WiFi is available throughout, and pets are welcome, so four-legged travellers don't need to be left behind. Free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward.
Beyond breakfast, there's no restaurant on site, but pubs, bars and eateries can be found nearby for evening meals, along with entertainment options for those wanting more than a quiet night in. With Swansea Bay also within reach, Western House makes a practical base for exploring this stretch of the Welsh coast.
What guests say
Cadi and Imrane were so friendly and helpful. The bed in Room 3 was really comfy, with a lovely memory foam mattress topper and the perfect thickness of duvet. The windows had really nice shutters as well as curtains so we could fine tune the ventilation and the light. There was also a convection heater on the wall which warmed the room in no time when needed (we were there at the end of October). Really big bathroom, including a massive cast iron bath, which sadly I didn't have time to try out because we were so busy getting out and about. We had three delicious breakfasts with perfectly cooked eggs and lovely thick bacon. One morning we opted for the Moroccan Tagine and it was really yummy. It was a bit like scrambled eggs mixed with tomato, garlic, and olives. The breakfast room was so cute, with fairy lights and homely furnishings. Private, reserved parking space too, so no stress when we returned to base, and close to the door when it was a bit drizzly. We visited Llangennith Burrows, Worms Head and Whiteford Nature Reserve. Cadi had lots of recommendations and top tips, and we had some lovely meals in the local pubs.

Double room stay April 2nd/3rd 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently spent two wonderful nights at Western House BnB with our little dogs, and it was an experience we won’t forget! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the bright, artistic decor that gives the place a unique charm. The victorian bed was really comfortable. The quirky garden and terrace provided a lovely spot to relax and have breakfast. Cadi was an absolute delight—her warmth and local knowledge made our stay even more special. She shared fantastic tips about the area that helped us make the most of our visit. A huge thank you to Imran for the incredible egg tagine we enjoyed for breakfast; it was truly a culinary highlight! We loved exploring this stunning part of Wales, especially our scenic walk to Rhossili Bay, which was breathtaking. We can’t wait to return with our family and share this gem with them. And Cadi and Imran, we hope you can come visit us at our glamping site in Suffolk someday! Thank you for a memorable stay! Warm regards, Clare & Henry 🌻

We had the perfect stay here in September 2023 as a family of four adults sharing two rooms. Steve and Pippa and their family (and dogs!) are so welcoming and the perfect hosts, and we enjoyed their beautiful home in a lovely setting. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to stay in such a colourful and unique environment surrounded by handmade treasures. We will definitely be back!
