About Hurst Dene Aparthotel

With Swansea's city centre and the Gower Peninsula both within easy reach, Hurst Dene Aparthotel makes a practical base for walking, cycling or a spot of fishing, and there's a golf course nearby for those who fancy a round. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries sit close by too, along with options for watersports and evening entertainment, so there's no shortage of ways to fill a day out from the property.

The aparthotel itself occupies a Victorian building on Sketty Road, and rooms are cosy rather than grand, each with free WiFi. A full English breakfast is included to set guests up before a day exploring the coast or the city. Free on-site parking is available, which is a genuine convenience given the surrounding streets, and reception operates around the clock for late arrivals or early starts.

Luggage storage is on hand too, useful for those splitting a trip between Swansea and the Gower. It's a straightforward, comfortable place to stay rather than a destination in itself, best suited to guests who plan to spend their days out and about.

Nice, clean rooms and a small grassy area outside. Our windows were facing the street so it got quite loud at times. The lounge was too hot to use, but it was the top floor. Would definitely recommend the place if you're in the area.

I was a resident there for two months back in 2022. The owner (Winston) could not have been more gracious and helpful. I was traveling from California to Swansea for specialized medical treatment, and this was my first trip outside the U.S. After learning of my reasons for travel and the length of time I would be in the UK, he provided me with a more spacious room than I was originally assigned. What a kind and compassionate gentleman he was. My room was always tidied spotlessly. The staff was always courteous and helpful and it made my stay all the more enjoyable.

Excellent place to stay for a long time. Easy to get to the seaside, Swansea University and City Centre (each way - 20-30 minutes of moderate walking). Beautiful view from the second floor room. Many places to eat and take a break around. So nice! Rooms are clean and cosy. Privacy is highly appreciated here 👍 Many thanks!

Great price would definitely come again Booked here via the phone with the older gentlemen, was so lovely and helpful! The three of us stayed here for a night in an apartment which was within the building of the hotel, felt very safe and the beds were so comfy. In the room there was a stylish shower room, a room with a double bed and sink, and then the main room which had a single bed, kitchen, sofa and table and chairs. Really enjoyed and much better experience than staying in a hotel room which were quoting me double the amount for 3 people. There was also free parking! Definitely would come back here again if I'm ever in Swansea.
