Fantastic family beach!! There's parking up the top, but I'd actually highly recommend the Wortley road car park - far less busy, cheaper and not far at all! It's a steep-ish walk down to the beach but what a beach it is! Clean, not deep but not shallow for miles either. Ice cream truck by the actual beach and it's not crazy overcrowded. Highly recommend!

Such a great place to visit. Dog friendly beaches, and designated No Dog Allowed beaches. A promenade between several beaches, great coastal scenery and walks. Shingle and sand beach. Highcliffe cafe and the outside cabin for sit down refreshments at reasonable (for the area) prices. Facilities available, spacious car park and green space at the top. Safe to get down to the beach. It's a long standing favourite I've been visiting here for most of my life and it's still a beautiful naturally stunning place with breathtaking views of the Jurassic Coast.

Good beach part sand part gravel, cliff behind with no houses, would be great to walk from highcliff beach to Southampton a long the beach but wouldn't be beach all the way, there's a path & steps near the castle to go down & up from the beach. Looks like at night they are locked

This is undeniably one of the finest beaches in the region, boasting stunning clear blue waters and golden sands. The Highcliff restaurant and coffee shop, perched atop the cliff, offers an exceptional experience. I find this area to be truly captivating, perfect for enjoying the summer sunshine and winter strolls.
