What visitors say

Cathy Stagg

Friendly pottery studio where beginners and experienced potters work to their own strengths in a supportive atmosphere. Paint ready-made blanks, hand-build or throw on the wheel, or try them all! Also available, coffee, cake, and in summer milkshakes with all the extras.

I cannot recommend Eastcott Studios enough. I've been going there once a week since Christmas and have been trying out a bit of hand building. Jo who runs the class is so friendly, patient and encouraging. She really makes you feel at home. You can also see her beautiful creations at the studio; they inspire you to try them yourself.

This is a great place to learn a new art skill, I threw a pot for the first time and it was great fun. There are art classes for all ages and something going on all week

Raku sessions back to back for a full day of fun. Great atmosphere and she left us the freedom to play with our ideas and try things, and gave advice when we were doing something that was not going to work well. Great experience. I would bring some bisque fired pieces now that I know what I'm doing. Great experience!
