About Travelodge Swindon Central
Travelodge Swindon Central's 81 rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available on request, spread across seven floors served by a lift. Accessible rooms are available for those who need them, and the overall standard is clean and comfortable rather than flashy, which suits the price range.
Downstairs there's a bar serving hot food alongside a restaurant, and breakfast covers a decent spread of options to set guests up for the day. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24 hour reception, and the hotel welcomes pets, so it works well for those travelling with dogs. An electric vehicle charge point is on site, though parking itself is chargeable and based nearby at Whalebridge car park on Islington Street, about five minutes on foot - worth factoring in if driving, and central location does mean some road noise.
The setting near Swindon railway station and the Brunel Shopping Centre makes it convenient for both rail travellers and anyone wanting shops, pubs and restaurants within easy reach on foot.

What guests say
Perfectly fine travelodge, literally only downside is no parking. But obviously when you book that you’d check it, just annoying as the car park across the road is £7.50 for 24 hours so it can add up… The other one is £15 I think for 24 hours. But you’re central, it’s easy to find, staff are lovely. It’s got a small seating downstairs area with a bar and a tv and a vending machine. Very quiet, very comfy. There was a small blood stain on the mattress protector reflected in my review I’d have put five stars if not. But I’d return.

Have stayed here a few times now and have always had a good stay. Check-in has been quick, the room's always been warm and clean, and the breakfast has been lovely in the morning. It's in a great location for someone like me who doesn't drive. It's roughly six or seven minutes walk from the train station and even closer to the main city centre. Will stay here again in the future.

Room is ok, no slippers, just ok, really, no towel for the feet in toilet. But room is clean and good temperature , the positioning of the TV is not goof at all. It's on the side rather than to be in front of you. The breakfast for 10. Isn't fresh at all. Like it was just warmed. Especially the mushrooms made me eek , too dry. But ses fresh mushroom. Like you don't know how to look fresh and not.staff are nice. Overall, if you want somewhere just to sleep nothing wow factor, this is a good one, plus the value for money is ok :) 20mins walk to the old town. Oh the WiFi is 30mins free only !!!

Don't ever stay in this Travel Lodge you will get know rest. Recycling bins empty at 5am and shouting all night from people from Booth House a Salvation Army Hostal. When complained to receptionist all she said was sorry. If you want a decent night sleep look else where.
