I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped, including a TV. The bathroom was also spacious and had a dressing table with a hairdryer, as well as an ironing board, which was very convenient. We were provided with complimentary water, tea, coffee, and towels, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious. In addition, the hotel offers both indoor and outdoor parking, making it perfect if you are travelling by car. I truly enjoyed my stay. Everything was very comfortable, and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Enjoyed a one night stay at the Barrington Arms after a football match at Oxford United. The room was well appointed and very clean, and the bar and restaurant were pleasant with a nice vibe. Food was excellent. Dinner on the Saturday evening was great value steak and the breakfast the following morning was also first rate. Shrivenham is a quiet village and the church a short walk away was interesting and included Commonwealth War Graves. Highly recommended.

After having lunch across the road at the lovely Prince of Wales pub, we decided to have a drink in the Barrington Arms. Another great place to dine with friends and family. Huge beer garden at the rear, with plenty of seating and umbrellas which was needed on a hot day like today. Very friendly and excellent service. Highly recommend.

We booked a table for an evening meal as we haven't been here before. We ordered 2 portions of the Chicken Kiev which was not what we expected- it was just a breaded whole chicken breast with no garlic in the centre, nor anywhere on the plate. The mashed potato was quite stale, appeared to have been sat for a while, not fresh. We also ordered a steak and chips off the specials board, the outside of the steak looked burnt and the fries that came with it were overcooked. The service we had off the young lad and lady however was brilliant, they were very polite, very welcoming. Just feel that we were let down by the food.
