What guests say
We had a fantastic dining experience at the Notley Arms. The pub itself is incredibly warm and cosy with a lovely rustic, countryside feel that makes you feel right at home. The starters were absolutely stunning and beautifully displayed, followed by a gorgeous Sunday roast with the perfect sides to go with it. To finish, the dessert had just the right flavours and was the ideal amount to wrap up our meal. The service from the team was great throughout, and we will absolutely be visiting again!

One of these times we are going to stop there to eat, today became one of those such times, first just to pop in for a beverage and get a sense for the character, people and of course the menu. Food you would go out of your way for, service to boot. I have been visiting this area of the country for over 50 years and it’s took this long to find the gem, I can understand why it’s a busy location too. Burger - not a simple one either, more completed than the Sunday times crossword, flavour, one of the best I’ve had in a long time, the chips/fries, wow, not something you knock up at home, some homework had been done to get to this point, a simple fry/chip but yet no, these need recognition all on their own. Cauliflower Steak with an explosion of flavours too. Not one crumb left on our plates, only one of us had room for a desert, of course it’s the cheesecake, yet another perfect dish. Congrats must go to the kitchen staff otherwise this level would be difficult to keep up.

Have been coming for years but first time since the new team. WOW! There wasn't one thing on the menu I wouldn't have chosen. The food was amazing and very well priced. As always the location is great for a dog walk and then either inside or outide seating is perfect. Brilliant service also. We are looking forwward to a few more visits over the coming months.

Dinner with friends, our first time at Notley Arms. Just wow. Service, quality, atmoshere, food and drink (tried Diddly Squats Hawkstone IPA), absolutely amazing. The icing on the cake, the exceptional welcome and smile and brilliance from Fay (or Faye?). She is incredible, as is everyone else too. Thank you, cant wait to come back and keep this place going forever. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
