We had a fantastic stay with our schnauzer here at The Hatch Inn ..he was also aloud to stay in our room while we went for dinner . ( house trained anyways, wouldn't even think about doing if not ) the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever been in while away Everything was extremely clean . We stayed while there was a guest chef . Food was sublime. But most of all the guys there were so happy rare these days , the waiters/waitresses the hosts not anything too much trouble ( I think the landloard ) I didn't ask ) .. even went out of his way to sort a cocktail 🍸. The locals were very friendly. This was probably one of the best pub/hotel /b&b we have ever stayed in. attentive and detail was on point . A local to cherish .. only down point is a personal one because style is person. Decor maybe a little brighter in the down stair areas. So we rate our stay at . 99.99.5 Enjoy everyone. This place is a gem !!!

Having been a patron of the Hatch Inn for over a decade now and even though it is my local; still one of the top pubs in Somerset. Food is fabulous from the evening menu, to Sunday roast, to Pizza night (just to see Tony in his outfit) and the new cafe during the day. Clare & Tony, with their fab staff give a tremendous welcome and lovely ambience.

I found this inn on the internet & booked because of the positive comments and everything was exactly as written - friendly, welcoming staff, comfy well designed room (no 3), comfortable bed, breakfast included which was very tasty & catered for coeliac hubby brilliantly. All this & very dog friendly too - 10/10
