What visitors say
Our third time here at Cornish Farm, it's a convenient place to break up our journey & not far from the M5. Clean facilities ( I love the radio is playing in the shower block!) friendly wardens too. Approximately 40 minutes walk in to town.

Great quiet little camp site used as a two night stop over on way down to Bude. Very friendly site staff and close by to Taunton

We have stayed here a few times now but we were not so happy this time. First I must say the wardens are lovely and they keep the toilet and showers immaculate. The pitches are flat and well spaced. The problem we experienced is that there now appears to be a lot of long term units here. This in itself is not an issue but some of these people are working and cars are coming and going from 4am. The roads around the site are gravel so every morning at 4am I was woken by these vehicles leaving on the gravel road. Unfortunately for me at that time of the morning I cannot get back to sleep. For this reason we will not be returning as it not so much a touring site anymore. I also cannot believe how dirty some people leave the toilets and expect the warden to clean up after them. The ladies showers were lovely and warm with underfloor heating and hot water but husband said gents water was only luke warm and shower room was cold. There is a lot of background motorway noise as well. The nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk away and the bus is not very frequent into Taunton. It is walkable but a fair distance to be honest. I also think Van Bitz should stop advertising there as they no longer exist and work from site.

Saved our weekend after a nearby festival screwed up camping arrangements and left us with nowhere to camp. Sorted us with a pitch at short notice and saved dozens of peoples weekend who had travelled from all over the UK. The site was lovely and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating. It actually worked out better for us ending up with a nice site pitch and facilities and still only a short walk to the festival. Thank-you very much Cornish Farm.
