Golf, fishing and cycling are all within easy reach of Beera Farmhouse, with Holsworthy Golf Club nearby for a round and the surrounding Devon countryside well suited to those on two wheels. Gunnislake lies a few miles off by road, giving guests a nearby town to explore, while the wider Tavistock area offers pubs, restaurants and open country for walking.
The farmhouse itself has four rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and the setting is quiet and rural with a garden that guests can sit out in and take in the views. There's a bar and restaurant on site, breakfast is included, and kids' meals are available for families. Drinks can be brought to the room, and there's an outdoor seating area and picnic spot for warmer days.
Practical extras include free on-site parking, luggage storage, a laundry service and cycle storage, useful for anyone touring the area by bike. Pets are welcome, making it a straightforward base for a countryside break in Devon.

The most perfect BnB and we would come back in a heartbeat. Everything is clean, the bedrooms are comfortable and even the small things like bath robes and lots of variety of teas/coffee and fudge(!) have been thought about. The cream tea on arrival is an absolute treat and having the option to order throughout your stay was a delight. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic too. Sensational mushrooms!! Hilary and Robert are lovely and kind hosts and really are the heart of the place. All of this in a beautiful setting, and being on a genuine working farm, it's something special.

Beera Farmhouse is highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay there. The location is perfect for trips to Dartmoor. The house is set in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the breakfast is outstanding. Hillary is super friendly and cooks excellently. We’ll definitely be back! ;-)

Just returned from a Fabulous 6 night stay , at this beautiful Farmhouse Where all the food was Exceptionally with great choices, including complimentary cream tea on arrival, very comfortable rooms , modern Bathroom , outstanding views, and Fantastic hosts. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

An absolutely stunning B&B. Hilary and her husband are so very kind, helpful and friendly, and Hilary‘s meals, desserts and scones are more than delicious. From the first second we felt at home here, the rooms are so lovely and everything is very clean and tidy. Also, this house has so much British charme, you find fresh flower bouquets and lovely decoration everywhere. We were taken to see the newborn lambs and our dog friend Mist was always the first to greet us upon arrival. The farmhouse is really perfectly located to drive to Devon as well as Cornwall in no time. We will definitely come back to Beera Farmhouse and the wonderful people here.
