Dawlish is a working seaside town where the sandy beach sits at the centre of things, backed by shops, restaurants, a theatre and gardens. Jubilee Cottage occupies a quiet spot within walking distance of all of it. The whole house is yours for the duration, with space for four guests spread across two bedrooms and a bathroom.

Ground floor holds the living room, where a Smart TV and comfortable seating make for easy evenings, and a fully equipped kitchen with dining table. An enclosed courtyard garden leads off here—a practical spot for morning coffee or an evening drink, with seating built in. Upstairs, one bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other a zip-and-link super kingsize that converts to twin beds on request; both have dressing tables, built-in wardrobes and their own Smart TVs. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are included, and one well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The Southwest Coast Path runs both directions from here if you fancy a walk, and rock pools line the beach for exploring. There's a travel cot, highchair and stairgate available if needed. No smoking inside the property.

My husband and I have just returned from a week in Dawlish. We stayed at Jubilee Cottage. This place is just wonderful, the cottage is a real home from home that caters for your every need. The cottage is spacious, bright and very welcoming. The location is brilliant and just a short, pleasant stroll in to the lovely town centre where there are lovely cafes, pubs, shops, the brook and the beach and sea. The train service is great and easy to access some of the other lovely towns in this area. The host Emma is great, responds very quickly and has put together a great e guide which covers everything that you need to know with regards to the cottage, Dawlish and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!!! Jackie & George
