A smashing campsite with everything you would need for camping. The pitch was big enough for our needs and well maintained. We where close to one the fresh water tap and only a stone throw away from the ablutions block. The ablutions block was well maintained and very clean, there was a very small charge of 20p to use the shower that lasted for us long enough to have a good shower. There was also a laundrette and a room for washing your plates and even ironing facility. Next to the children's play area was a a snack wagon that severed hot and cold food along with a cold drinks wagon basically a great addition to the site open from 08.00-8pm. The site access was controlled by a security barrier that gave a nice sense of security and the staff constantly walking the site to give assistance if required. Next to the entrance barrier was the booking in office that also sold basic supplies. The site staff where great, very approachable, friendly and helpful with management taking a proactive role and walking around the site speaking to everyone and asking how everyone was. There was a 10pm silent curfew that unfortunately not all campers followed with loud speaking until late into the night and went on for 3 nights near to us, we did report this to the camp office but still happened on the 3rd night despite being told that this would be looked in to, this is the only area that we would recommend is addressed. I wish to take nothing away from the fact that this camp site is the best site we have stayed at when visiting Devon and we would highly recommend this lovely camp site to anyone reading this review.

Lovely site, peaceful and well kept with plenty of room between pitches. Loved our stay. Although the weather wasn't so kind we managed to pitch in a sheltered spot near the hedging. Toilets and showers kept spotlessly clean throughout our week's stay. Just a suggestion.... perhaps more showers would be useful for when the the site is full. Other than that we'd highly recommend Leadstone and plan to return.

Good location with public transport right outside, a short walk to amusements and beaches. Short drives to neighbouring towns like Dawlish, Teignmouth, Paignton, Torquay, Brixham. The staff are the best, friendly, realy helpful, even join in. The campsite caters for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Shower and toilet block are just a short walk and immaculate. Hot and cold food available which is real tasty and not overpriced. Every year we enjoy our stay.

Lovely campsite at great location! Facilities are spotless. Had an electric pitch for a tent, the water and electricity hook up all on the same pitch so really convenient. We don’t usually go to the same place twice but this site is definitely somewhere we would like to visit again.
