This stone cottage sits in a sheltered courtyard off Buckfastleigh's main street, a setting that feels tucked away despite being close to the town centre. The building itself is characterful and compact, with living spaces arranged across two floors and an enclosed garden providing a private outdoor space. One car space is available on site, though there is also public parking nearby.
Inside, the ground floor holds a sitting room with Freeview TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen/dining room where you can cook properly—electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine all present. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with a single and a pull-out single, along with a bathroom that has a bath with shower over. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The cottage sleeps four and one dog stays free; travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
Buckfastleigh is positioned for exploring Dartmoor's moorland walks and is within reach of attractions like Buckfast Abbey, the Otter Sanctuary and the South Devon Railway. The coast is also accessible, as are Plymouth and Exeter for longer day trips. The shop is 30 yards away and a pub 300 yards. Note that there is a walled watercourse about 65 yards from the property. No smoking is permitted.
