Lobster Cottage

Lobster Cottage works well for families with younger children, couples after a coastal break, or small groups wanting their own space. The two bedrooms hold four single beds between them—useful if you're travelling with children or friends rather than as a couple. Downstairs there's a living room with Freeview TV and electric woodburner, a kitchen with oven and hob for real cooking, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, a shower room serves the bedrooms. Travel cots and highchairs are on hand if needed. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

The cottage is set back from the road with an enclosed patio and garden area where you can sit outside. Wi-Fi is included; heating and electricity run on a meter. The beach lies just 500 yards away, and a pub serving food is within walking distance. Nearby Dawlish and Teignmouth are both roughly 1½ miles off; Shaldon, with its sand and small zoo, is about three miles further. The Devon coastline and Dartmoor are within driving reach. There are a couple of steps into the courtyard, and no smoking is permitted inside.
