Pleasant Maris

Pleasant Maris is a five-bedroom cottage in East Ogwell, a village within reach of South Devon's countryside and coast. You get the whole place to yourself: a living and dining room with an open fire and Freeview TV, a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals, and a shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs there are five bedrooms—one super king, one double, and three singles—plus a bathroom with a bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are provided if needed.

The enclosed garden has a lawn and seating area, and there's parking for one car on site. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with Wi-Fi. The open fire comes with initial logs. No smoking inside. One well-behaved pet stays free.

Newton Abbot is two miles away for shopping and everyday needs. The market town of Totnes lies eight and a half miles off, with riverside walks and independent shops. For days out, Decoy Country Park and Stover Country Park are nearby, Teignmouth Beach is nine miles away, and Newton Abbot Racecourse hosts racing and other events. Pubs and restaurants are half a mile from the cottage.
