What visitors say

Jason Quinn

this is how we got to the castle... really lovely... only a couple dozen local walkers and other tourists seen on july 12 holiday... weather was just amazing... up to the castle involves a fair amount of up, but there are lots of benches so you can rest a bit if you need... highly recommend...

A bit of a hike from the bus stop, but a nice walk. On the plus side the castle is free, down side is it's only the bottom floor so you're missing the majority of the place.

Great nature, climbing, walking, hiking, beautiful & amazing trail experience outside the Historic, beautiful Belfast Castle & up or down the Cavehill. There are caves to explore, plenty of trails & difficulties. Saw a gorgeous little fluffle or herd of bunnies when we came back to the parking lot too.
