Large holiday park on Tenby's own doorstep, a short walk from South Beach

About Kiln Park Holiday Centre

Perched right on Tenby's southern edge, Kiln Park offers the rare convenience of a full-facility holiday park within easy walking distance of one of Pembrokeshire's loveliest coastal towns. Touring pitches and tent spaces share the grounds with statics and Haven's usual family entertainment – pools, clubhouse, evening shows – so it's squarely aimed at those who value on-site amenities over quiet seclusion. Some visitors note the park can feel a touch tired in places, and you're paying for the location and facilities rather than intimate charm.

What sets it apart is direct access to South Beach and the coast path, with Tenby's harbour, pastel townhouses and medieval walls all reachable on foot in fifteen to twenty minutes. For families wanting bucket-and-spade convenience alongside showers, play areas and evening entertainment, it strikes a practical balance between seaside-town proximity and self-contained holiday-park ease.

Had a great weeks holiday here used our motorhome so didn't use there caravans but the pitche was excellent. Good location well kept and spacious. The toilet block was very clean. The swimming pool was excellent. Bar and restaurant area was spacious with a good variety of food and drinks. The arcade was good got busy of a night but not a problem. Done a few nights in the bar excellent for young kids. The site Also had a shop on site with a good selection of items. The site is in a really good location close to Tenby town centre and the local beaches would definitely visit again.

We have been coming to Kiln Park as touring customers for over 40 years now, and occasionally we have hired a static caravan. Unfortunately our stay last week had to be the most disappointing in all that time. We arrived in our camper van and first appearances of the touring area was one of shock. The whole area looked unkept. Although we have paid for a hardstanding pitch the grass all around it was really long. The service point was extremely dirty and the water connections too dirty to use. The caravan owners opposite had complained and a man with a strimmer arrived and tidied their pitch up but left without strimming any other pitches. They had been told that all the pitches were scheduled to be done so we waited and waited for 5 days and still no strimmer arrived!. To cap it all we even had rats visiting every day in the long grass around the service point!! What is going on Kiln Park? I do have to add that the shower/toilet facilities were kept very clean and tidy - the 3 service stars are purely for them. The standard of the actual touring pitches let the whole team down though.

Not a bad caravan park with an arcade, shows, basic pool and activities. Every time we come it's mix of sun and rain and we manage to have a good time regardless of the weather. The caravans are decent enough- we always stay in one with central heating and 3 bedrooms and it does the job. Plenty of utensils to cook, a hob, oven, microwave and under counter fridge and the mini freezer inside. They have TVs and HDMI ports but SIGNAL IS SHOCKINGLY BAD! I love it because we have to spend time off our phones 🤪 but it means streaming your fave programmes is not happening - download in advance! The mini mart is reasonably priced and the park is ~10 minute walk from Tenby South Beach which is a mix of sand and stone. Food is a little pricey on site but convenient considering it's not too close to much else by car. There is a restaurant 1mile along the beach if you wanted to have a nice walk and meal! The pool is basic with one slide, a kids pool, the main pool and a small jacuzzi pool. The changing rooms are big enough- could be cleaner- and have lockers that you need £1 for. They have hair dryers and showers (not private) and fyi, don't have the machines to dry your clothes. We don't go to much of the entertainment in the evenings but we do go to the day shows and use the arcade - both good and the kids LOVE it. The park is ~5mins for other sites like Dinosaur Experience, Manor Park and Heatherton. Perfect location! Overall we have made this site a yearly visiting spot with our little ones to make memories away from home in lovely part of Wales.

Lovely stay at Kiln park, caravan was lovely and clean, warm and spacious. Shop on site was well stocked. Attractions were lovely for the kids. Short scenic walk on the beach to Tenby. Friendly and obliging staff. Park itself was very clean, caters for tourers too. Well signposted. Went off peak,so didn't see entertainment. Only two things that could of improved was being informed that groundwork was being done by the caravan and some of our party had dogs,so had to take the dogs through the dining area to the dog friendly area at the back, also website says 9pm but,we were told that it closed at 8pm.
