The Cottage

The Cottage is a traditional semi-detached property in Broadstairs' Saint Peters area, sleeping four across two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom—one with a shower cubicle, the other with a bath and shower—which means fewer morning queues. Downstairs there's a living room with a wood burner, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, plus a courtyard with seating and a parking space for one car.

A pub stands 100 yards away; the beach, shops and restaurants are half a mile on foot. Broadstairs itself hosts events year-round, including the folk week festival, and the town's pubs and restaurants make for easy evenings out. Further afield, Dover Castle, Deal with its own castles, and Canterbury cathedral are all within a short drive. The essentials—heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen—are covered, along with logs for the wood burner. Note that the stairs are steep and narrow in places.
