Great facilities lovely amount of space to play in with a slightly limited forest but this was ideal for the Scout Group camp but certainly recommend raised camping bed as the ground is quite bumpy and not always flat. Toilet facilities were a little mucky and were in a state of needing repair but this is a bit of a self-maintained location and so it's not like you have a maintenance crew attending to issues

Amazing space with plenty to do. Facilitate are ok as kids had loads of fun in the wildlife. We actually spotted wild bunnies hoping about!

We went for a recce visit to potentially book for 2025. We were shown around the site by a young man called Ollie who was very helpful, showing us all the indoor accommodation, the range for shooting/archery/tomahawks/crossbows use, the cave bus and the remote controlled cars track as well as all the camping pitches. We will definitely book next year, the site is beautiful with mature trees and the staff we spoke to are welcoming and helpful.

Used the site for a night hike and was really impressed. Wardens were helpful and friendly, and helped run a successful session of archery in their new range. The Mowgli is a great size, has a well equipt kitchen and was very clean. The outdoor leader toilets are clearly new and in very good condition, and I was told the boys/girls toilets are being upgraded soon. The site in general is huge, you could have loads of groups camping here and not disturb each other.
