Oak Manor is a Victorian mansion set across three acres of grounds near Torquay. The building retains its period character while offering modern comforts inside. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms, sleeping up to ten people, so it works well for family gatherings or groups of friends wanting somewhere substantial to base themselves. The whole property is yours alone.
Indoors, the layout centres on sociable living space where everyone can gather. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Outside, a private hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, which also has a barbecue. There is bike storage if you want to explore on two wheels. Smoking is not permitted. Went for afternoon cream tea on the terrace. Beautiful day and the terrace was lovely! Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. G&T first rate, cream tea superb and coffee smooth and tasty! The scone was delicate and delicious, the clotted cream morish and the excellent strawberry jam made all the better by the fresh quartered strawberry toppers included - a wonderful touch! Best cream tea ever! Will most certainly be back to try more.

A small privately owned hotel, with very high quality food. Rooms are slightly old fashioned but housekeeping is immaculate. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Access is via a standard narrow Devon road which causes problems if another car wished to pass you. We will be back again and recommending this hotel to friends .

An elegant and tastefully furnished and decorated hotel in a peaceful setting with beautiful views. We loved our room (6) and the twin basins, freestanding bath and bidet in the beautifully decorated bathroom were particularly impressive. Food was sublime. Menu had excellent choice of meal options at superb value for the quality. We loved dining here. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. A lovely 3 night stay. Thank you!

Lovely experience at Orestone Manor. The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, and there was plenty of parking. We first visited for afternoon tea and were so impressed that we came back for Sunday roast – and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Great quality food and a really enjoyable visit.
