This was our third visit to the Haytor hotel and as always it was another adventurous trip for us. The hotel is spotless, rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable. Breakfast, cooked by Jayne is plentiful and just what you need to start your day. John’s table service is relaxed and so professional with a bit of humour thrown in. The hotel location is just up from the harbour but far enough away not to hear anything. It’s a very peaceful and in a beautiful location. My wife and I will definitely be back again soon for a quite relaxing weekend. Thank you John and Jayne for your hospitality.

Absolutely loved my stay here with my brother. First time in Torquay and Jane really set the bar in terms of friendliness. We got to Haytor early and we're able to check in early .She greeted us with some cake and drinks and talked to us about Torquay and herself and her husband, she also gave us some amazing recommendations like Amicis for our dinner. The room was beautiful and the bed was soo comfy! Our breakfast was made to order and she and John were just amazing. We shared some good laughs and would definitely go back! The location of the hotel is awesome because its walking distance from the town and the beach so it was excellently convenient. Overall, wish we could have stayed longer!

John and Jane were exceptional hosts the most lovely couple you will ever meet, their hosting skills were second to none felt like you were staying with family. The room and hotel was spotlessly clean, breakfast was so fresh and great quality produce. Cannot fault anything about our stay we will be coming back to you very soon for a longer weekend x

Lovely weekend stay , there is plenty of parking on site and the first impression is excellent. Once we got inside we received a warm welcome from John who gave us coffee and cake on arrival. Our room was excellent and overlooked the garden and the town . We slept well as the hotel is in a quiet location. The breakfast was superb and kept us full all day . I would not hesitate to recommend The Haytor to anyone.
