If you love caves and history, this is one attraction not to be missed! However, if your tour guide isn’t James, you might be disappointed, as he truly made the experience. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, humorous, and engaging throughout, bringing the history of the caves to life in a way that kept everyone interested. The facilities were clean and well maintained, all the staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was parking available on site. The car park isn’t particularly large though, so I can imagine parking could become an issue during busier periods. A fantastic visit and one we would highly recommend.

Kents Cavern is well worth a visit. Kay was our guide, and she was absolutely excellent. She spoke clearly and distinctly, making it easy for us to understand everything, even though English is not our native language. She provided fascinating information about the caves and the archaeological excavations that have taken place there. Her explanations were engaging and informative, and she helped bring the history of the cavern to life. She also added a touch of humour throughout the tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Kents Cavern and Kay as a guide.

We visited today on a Sunday, we hadn't booked tickets but that wasn't a problem and we virtually walked straight in. A guide led us to the first cave and then we were able to wander between caves at our own pace, with a guide located in each area. They were all knowledgeable and friendly. A few had a very dry sense of humour which we appreciated! The toilets are very clean, as is the restaurant. We had the 3 cheese ploughman's which showcased local cheeses and chutneys, it was amazing! A very nice day out, thank you to the team for a warm welcome and a fascinating visit.

Brilliant place to visit and definitely worth doing the guided tour. We had James as our guide and he was fantastic – incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and great at bringing the history and stories of the cavern to life. He made the whole experience interesting from start to finish. The cavern itself is fascinating and beautifully presented. I’ve visited quite a few caverns over the years, and this is easily one of the best. Highly recommend!
