Maidencombe is a quiet village on the Torbay coast, between sandy beaches and countryside, within reach of the Southwest Coast Path. Shellhaven is a substantial house designed for groups: six bedrooms and five bathrooms accommodate up to twelve guests, with the whole place to yourselves. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The living spaces are arranged for both gathering and privacy, and glass balconies frame panoramic views across Torbay and Lime Bay.
A heated pool is the centrepiece of the grounds. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch. There is no smoking inside the property.
This works for large families, groups of friends or mixed generations wanting to spend time together without feeling crowded. The Southwest Coast Path starts nearby for coastal walks. The Castle, a local landmark, and several small seaside towns are within easy reach. Arrive after 16:00, depart before 10:00.
