Quality stay with Peter and Helen, both are amazing, what a team. Perfect location with parking, easy access to rooms for your luggage. Our room was of a high standard, the little extras made it, teas, coffee, hot chocolate, cookies, sweets, dressing gowns, fridge with fresh milk, bottled water. Breakfast selection is comprehensive, full array, ranging from cereal, yoghurt, full or a lighter English breakfast. Would definitely recommend if you want a higher grade of bed and breakfast. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Somerville and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, Peter and Helen made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The B&B itself is beautiful, spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with everything thoughtfully prepared for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of choice and high quality ingredients that really set us up for the day. What truly made the experience extra special were the hosts. Peter and Helen went above and beyond throughout our stay, including surprising my partner with a lovely birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. We had a wonderful one-night stay at The Somerville in Torquay with our three-year-old, and it exceeded all expectations.
