Yardley Manor Hotel

Absolutely perfect hotel for couples with a dog! We had a lovely comfortable stay at the Yardley manor hotel thanks to Jackie and Steve! Our room was lovely and clean, with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay and an incredibly comfortable bed! Decor was funky and made it an incredibly cozy stay! Breakfast was 10/10 and set us up for a day of walking and exploring the harbour which is a five minute walk away - great location. The star of the show for us was the heated pool! The owners were more than happy to heat the pool for us both times we wished to use it, which was lovely and clean and a great size for a dip (much appreciated for cooling off in the evening!) We highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an affordable, dog-friendly hotel a short walk from Torquay harbour!

Went as a couple for a small getaway during the recent may 2026 heatwave and it was perfect staying here. No problems at all •breakfast was great! ( £12 per person per day.) •Pool was just AMAZING during the heat! (luckily had the pool to ourselves🥳) •Nice view •Nice owners •Clean room •Car parking •Comfortable enough bed •No problems coming in and out at night. •Few minutes walk to the harbour •Yes its on a hill dont be stupid and not check the location of where you book 🤣 What more is there to say... I'd recommend this place and would stay again 👍 good value for money in my opinion🤷‍♂️

Just returned from a very pleasant stay. It was the perfect location for the marina area/town. We were greeted upon arrival by (we believe) the owner, who gave us tokens to use for a complementary drink at the bar. The room was lovely - very nicely decorated, modern bathroom, super comfortable bed and included tea/coffee, towels, large television, mini fridge, iron, hairdryer and a fan. We'd definitely stay here again 🙂

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The facilities and overall service were far below expectations, and the issues that arose during my stay were not handled in a satisfactory manner. In particular, my experience with a technician named Steve was very negative. When I raised several concerns, I found his attitude dismissive and unhelpful, focusing more on providing excuses than on finding solutions. Rather than feeling that my complaints were being taken seriously, I was left with the impression that the problems were constantly being justified instead of resolved. Overall, the level of customer service I received fell well short of what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.
