Cobble Cottage

Appledore's harbour, galleries and traditional pubs are all within reach on foot from Cobble Cottage. The ferry to Instow beach departs nearby. Further afield, RHS Rosemoor, Clovelly and the two-mile strand at Westward Ho! are within a short drive, making this a good base for exploring the North Devon coast without being tied to a car for every meal or evening out.

The cottage itself is compact but properly finished. Downstairs is a single open-plan room with a sofa, wood-burning stove and a 32-inch smart TV; the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs, a double bedroom with exposed beams and its own television sits next to a bathroom with both a roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle. The stairs are steep and wooden. One pet is welcome at no extra cost. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided; wood for the burner is supplied during winter. There is on-road parking outside, or a public car park 350 yards away. No smoking.
